M.I.S. program

The Master of Information Science (M.I.S.) program is designed to prepare university graduates for library and information professional careers. The design of the M.I.S. program engages students from a wide variety of professional and academic contexts to focus on information: its creation, organization, classification, retrieval, analytics, preservation, management, and use. The M.I.S. program will teach you how to organize, curate, disseminate, and communicate information in local and global contexts. You will learn how to store, retrieve, and share information by understanding, applying, and designing best practices, standards, and systems in the information world.
