ABOUT ICIS 2022
ICIS is a bi-annual program intended to be one of the best platforms for academics, researchers and industry practitioners around the world to share knowledge, research findings, new technologies and practices in Information and Library Science such as information governance, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet-of-Things (IoT), libraries and librarianship, knowledge management, records management, archives administration, digital humanities and preservation to be at pace with the development and advancement of technology in this digital era.
The 1st ICIS conference was held in 2015 at the Faculty of Information Management, subsequently followed by the 2nd ICIS in 2016 at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Meanwhile, the 3rd ICIS in the year 2017 took place on Langkawi Island and the 4th ICIS was held in Istanbul, Turkey in 2018. The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic has delayed the 5th ICIS which will be held in 2022 in Penang, Malaysia. It will be a bi-annual event in the future. Since the first conference, various topics have been discussed related to the scope of Library Science and Information Science in the industry.
ICIS 2022 covers a wide scope of areas across the international borders providing great meaning and impact to the field of education, networking, exchange of ideas and sharing of knowledge through paper presentations, panel discussions, workshops and exhibitions. This conference is in hybrid mode to give participants option and enhance event flexibility.
| PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIESDear researchers, the ICIS 2022 conference is inviting researchers, from both domestic and international communities, to submit their scientific papers with original contributions, to exchange experiences, and demonstrate their studies of INFORMATION SCIENCE fields; information management, library management, digital library, records management, archive administration, information system management, content management system and knowledge management.This conference brings together experts, researchers and students of international universities, industries and communities to broaden their knowledge in emerging areas of research at the field of information science. The program for ICIS 2022 is multidisciplinary in topics of information management and its related areas. All submissions will be reviewed by the conference committees and journal editorial board, and accepted papers will be published in Scopus/Web of Science (WoS)/MyCite indexed journals and proceedings. The final decision for paper selection will be made based on peer review reports by the review board of the conference. |   |
